Hi Kristian, I think the ISPS code is great! Only joking....I'm afraid it's a fact of life these days, movement has been severely restricted in ports. It has also increased our work load and made it impossible for seafarers to go ashore in some places, you can't go for a walk or cycle or anything. In US ports you can't even change crew when you are alongside, you have to do it offshore. It's here to stay, before long you may see more widespread security in towns and cities with checkpoints and metal detectors, the world isn't getting safer.....
